INE – La Paz, 18 de noviembre de 2017.-<\/strong>\u00a0Seg\u00fan proyecciones a 2017, el departamento de Beni ocupa el segundo lugar con poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s joven, entre 0 y 29 a\u00f1os, con 63,9% de sus habitantes. Actualmente, el departamento cuenta con 462.080 habitantes, a 2020 contar\u00e1 con cerca de 480.310 personas, inform\u00f3 el Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (INE) a prop\u00f3sito de celebrarse un aniversario m\u00e1s del departamento.<\/p>\n

Respecto a la calidad del control prenatal, entre las mujeres con hijos nacidos vivos en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, 82,0% recibi\u00f3 atenci\u00f3n prenatal adecuada para el \u00faltimo nacimiento; esto incluye mujeres que fueron atendidas por personal de salud calificado, primer control prenatal realizado antes de cumplir el 5to mes de embarazo, cuatro o m\u00e1s controles prenatales y el reporte de s\u00edntomas de complicaciones durante su gestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
